Winter Music Conference, Thursday: Maze
Release Yourself @ Maze with Roger Sanchez. Big crowd outside. Not up to par with Sanchez' 2002 Essential Mix. DJ booth is way up in the VIP area and no one can see what he is doing -- very stupid move on the club management's part. Afterwards: "Originators of House" party at World Pie (yes, a restaurant) was dead. Got to Blue as it closed.
This guy was wearing high heels. On Tuesday at Opium he was wearing a mesh-butt pair of briefs.
Bizarre motorcycle sitting outside of Shore Club. Described by one person standing nearby as a "$250,000 bike." I assume this is the Dodge V10 motorcycle prototype that they unveiled a few months ago. Note that (still unreleased?) Dodge Neon SRT-4 on the right. I guess Dodge leaves their concept vehicles sitting around on South Beach as a promotional tool. It worked, in this case.
