STR8BLOGGIN: Anti-NASA article in Time

The National Aeronautics, Space, and anti-Taxpayer Administration (SATAN for short) has been a budgetary blackhole since the $40 billion Apollo program (now to the tune of nearly $15 billion A YEAR). 17 American men and women have needlessly died in pursuit of the space worship of this agency and a handful of corrupt men over the past 3 decades. This is an entire government agency that should be shut down (or re-named NASDA [as Japan's space agency is] ... the 'D' stands for 'Defense" ... and put under full Pentagon authority).

These b______s spent $1 billion to kill the 7 astronauts on the Challenger and ANOTHER $1 billion to do the same to the Columbia crew (it costs over $1 billion to put together a shuttle launch). AGAINST THE ADVICE OF THEIR OWN EXPERTS they proceeded with these missions instead of delaying them for the safety of the crews. They spent $1 billion taxpayer dollars and all they accomplished was the death of 7 moms, dads, husbands, and wives and the destruction of a $2 billion piece of equipment. UNFORGIVABLE.

should Nasa spend so much money on it things
for instance a NASA pen is $1,000,000. down on earth its 10cents . we could have spent that money on our home homeless or hungrey. I think that should be what we are spending our money on!

Those astronaut died for what they belived in. People died for what they belive in. We see it every day in the military. To dismantle NASA would be a discrace not only to America, but to the 17 men and women who gave there life for this cause.

By your logic, then, anything that someone dies doing should be maintained forever? So if a Mexican dies pumping concrete for a sidewalk, that sidewalk should be continually revered for all of time?

The fact that all these people die at NASA is another reason why we *should* shut them down.

"The Debate Show" on "MTV" is a trap and a fraud. It's actually "Crossballs" on Comedy Central, mixing unwitting political activists with actors, comedians and brutal ridicule.
