Well, I am 90% moved out of the “loft” in Wynwood. So far 2xth and Biscayne is a cool block: in the one complete day I’ve been here, I’ve been kept awake by pigeons fucking, gotten my car encrusted in the droppings of nature, seen an eight year old driving a pickup truck (on her father’s lap, but still), watched a 996 Turbo stall four times trying to make a U-turn while the driver’s cute female friend banged desperately on the door across the street, gotten yelled at by dominican children who were playing catch with an empty plastic cup, and enjoyed three refreshing cold showers since the hot water heater takes at least 20 minutes to do its job. …

Ohio Murder-Suicide Leaves Town Stunned

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio - A teen about to graduate from high school shot to death his grandparents, mother and two friends, then wounded his younger sister before committing suicide, authorities said Monday. The rampage perplexed school officials, who said he seemed to have been in good spirits.

Logan County Sheriff Michael Henry said Monday he did not know if authorities would ever find out why Scott Moody acted as he did, “but we’re going to try.”

Update: The birds must have read this post and become upset, because when I woke up this morning my car was covered in a layer of unspeakable filth. There are a lot of concrete factories around here (you know, next to the luxury condos) and perhaps the birds have fallen on hard times and are using those materials as a staple of their diet. In any case the turds will not wash off with any amount of standing-ten-feet-away-to-avoid-the-splash hosing.
